Sometimes a project comes our way that brings us such joy and design satisfaction. Jason's client, a busy professional woman and mother of two girls, contacted Jason to redesign their home to fit their current lifestyle. He focused our attention on a powder room, the girls' bedrooms and completely reworked a set of rooms on the main floor to become a full master suite - bedroom, bathroom and custom walk-in closet.
Jason worked closely with each daughter to to create designs that reflected their personal aesthetics. One daughter wanted her room a little more feminine, while the other daughter was attracted to more contemporary design elements. While most of the furniture is "off-the-shelf," each has a set of custom features - custom window treatments and custom headboards make each room special and unique.
The design in the master suite was intentional from day 1 - create an environment that is rich, comfortable, relaxing and a perfect escape from a busy day at the office. We took the examples our client brought us of spa-like environments she liked and translated that into one fitting of the home's architecture and era, while incorporating the clean and uncluttered style for which Jason is known. Both bedroom and bathroom designs focus on texture and pattern, with a little bit of sparkle thrown in for good measure. The master closet is all about maximizing storage - adjustable purse cubbies, shoe organization and plenty of hanging storage were necessary to house our client's fashions.
