Jason loves a good story. A couple with school-aged children finds the home of their dreams, complete with a sport court, pool and plenty of space to grow. Overall, the beautifully appointed home didn't need too much structural attention ~ it really only needed some cosmetic updates to become the home it deserved to be. Built as a modified Tudor, the home has great architectural details throughout with arched openings, beautiful millwork and a flow more often seen in more traditional homes. Jason was brought in to redesign the less than functional and outdated kitchen, open up the flow between the kitchen and family room, and provide a new look for the living and dining rooms. Jason worked diligently to maintain the character of the home, but update it in just the places. The remodeled kitchen is a little more traditional with Jason's clean-lined aesthetic incorporated throughout. In furnishings, Jason focused on traditional shapes, a more contemporary color palette, all while honoring the family's time abroad by incorporating art and collectibles into the design scheme. The resulting look is a marriage of traditional and contemporary, incorporating the best elements of each style.
